digiDoc Technologies was founded in early 2013 with the purpose of producing a stand-alone telemedicine device. It quickly became apparent that producing stand alone devices is not feasible in todays market where massive innovations in the handheld devices market are achieved year on year.
Instead we have chosen to specialize in software and app development, but still with a focus on telemedicine, eHealth and mHealth.
Our first goal and achievement has been to transform the iPhone camera into a pulse oximeter without the use of additional equipment. We can proudly state that we are the first company in the world to achieve that goal (demo).
We believe that the future does not need a multitude of single-purpose, stand-alone eHealth devices when we walk around with powerful technology in our hands and on our wrists. We aim at making eHealth easy and accessible.
